Custom Shades Co is a Sydney-based company specialising in the design, supply, and installation of premium indoor and outdoor shading solutions. We install blinds, awnings, louvre roofs, operable privacy screens, shutters, curtains, and motorised shading systems for residential and commercial clients.
We’re looking for a hardworking and reliable Offsider to join our growing team. This is a excellent opportunity for someone looking to learn a trade and build a long-term career in the industry.
About the Role
As an Offsider, you’ll work alongside experienced installers, assisting with the installation of premium shading products across Sydney. No previous experience is required (full training will be provided to the right candidate.)
Responsibilities
Assist with the installation of blinds, awnings, shutters, louvre roofs, and privacy screens.
Load and unload materials and equipment.
Use hand and power tools safely.
Maintain a clean and organised worksite.
Assist with site preparation and clean-up.
Provide excellent customer service while on site.
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
Requirements
Current and valid Australian driver’s licence (essential).
White Card (preferred but not essential).
Physically fit and comfortable lifting and working at heights.
Reliable, punctual, and motivated to learn.
Robust work ethic and positive attitude.
Ability to work well in a team.
Construction or trade experience is an advantage but not essential.
