MAINTENANCE OFFICER

At Wattle Hill Care, we are seeking a fulltime, dedicated Maintenance Officer to join our team of staff at Wattle Hill Care.

What you'll be doing
Attend to maintenance requests and complete appropriate documentation
Assist team members to ensure high quality service delivery.
Carries out preventative maintenance as per maintenance requests.
Assist to conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs.
Manage relationships with external maintenance contractors, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within budget.
Ensures adequate supplies of chemicals and equipment to maintain the buildings and grounds and maintains storage areas in a protected and tidy state.
Identifies and advises of any equipment maintenance and servicing.

What we're looking for
Proven experience in a similar maintenance position, preferably in the aged care or healthcare industry
Solid organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
Good communication skills, with the ability to liaise respectfully with a range of stakeholders, including residents and their families.
Proficient in the use of relevant equipment e.g. lawn mowers, edgers, blowers etc.
