Mechanic / Welder - Olive Oil Operations | Riverina & Western NSW

We are seeking a mechanically minded qualified to join the operations team at a prominent, large‑scale manufacturing and agricultural facility in Hillston, where you will take ownership of critical maintenance and repair across our diverse olive orchard and processing operations.

Responsibilities
Maintain and repair a wide range of agricultural and processing machinery.
Perform expert welding and fabrication repairs on orchard infrastructure.
Ensure seamless functionality of high‑performance fleet including tractors, harvesters, and specialised processing equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
Diagnose complex issues and execute precise welding and fabrication repairs.
Coordinate preventative maintenance programmes.

Ideal Candidate
Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Fitter, Welder, or similar.
Proven experience in maintaining heavy plant or agricultural machinery.
Strong welding and fabrication capability with sound mechanical knowledge.
Ability to independently diagnose and repair electrical and hydraulic faults.
