Maxx Academy HSC Parramatta is a leading tuition college located in the heart of Parramatta, NSW. We provide weekly and holiday courses in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Legal Studies, Business Studies, Engineering Studies, Software and Biology tailored for students of all levels, from those who want to catch up on course material to those hoping for state ranks and perfect ATARs.
Position Information:
As part of our tutoring services, we provide quality education to students from Year 1 till Year 12.
Currently, we are looking for mentors for High school Year11 & Year 12 classes for Engineering Studies subject(s):
Position requirements:
Must have completed HSC in NSW in respective subjects in HSC with good ATAR
Must have completed Engineering Studies in HSC with 90+ marks
Able to teach 1 to 1 or Group lessons
Can provide face to face lessons at Parramatta campus and Online lessons
Able to understand students’ needs and tailor the teaching style and material as per students need
Teaching regular weekly classes throughout the term and holiday courses during school holidays
Delivering feedback and recommendations to students and parents on their progress
Skills:
A genuine passion for Teaching
Previous Teachers from schools or University students with excellent ATAR in respective subjects
Highly developed organisational, interpersonal and communication skills demonstrated by the ability to work flexibly and build positive, collaborative relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community
Solid classroom management skills and wellbeing practices with the capacity to cater for a diverse range of students
Completed their tertiary qualifications in a related discipline
Have a good knowledge of the current Board of Studies curriculum respective subjects

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
