As a Maintenance Electrician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the reliability and performance of our manufacturing plant. You will be responsible for preventative and reactive maintenance across production equipment, ensuring machinery operates safely, efficiently and with minimal downtime.
Working closely with Production, Quality and Engineering teams, you'll help drive equipment reliability, support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with food safety and electrical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Maintenance
Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance across manufacturing equipment.
Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical faults on production machinery.
Install, maintain and replace electrical components, motors, sensors and control equipment.
Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
Carry out fault finding on PLC-controlled machinery.
Conduct root cause analysis following equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
Complete routine inspections, testing and scheduled maintenance activities.
Recommend and implement modifications that improve safety, efficiency and uptime.
Support reliability initiatives and preventative maintenance programs.

Skills & Experience
Essential
Australian Electrical Trade Qualification.
Current Electrical Licence.
Demonstrated experience as a Maintenance Electrician within an industrial manufacturing environment.
Strong PLC fault-finding knowledge.
Experience with preventative and reactive maintenance.
Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
