Full Time Chance The Role

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Garde Manger Chef to join the events team. In this role you'll:

As a Chef, you’ll create joyful moments through genuine care and connection, guided by Crown’s 4Cs of Service Excellence—Be Courteous, Connect, Create, and Care—ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to elevated hospitality.
Support a team of professional Chefs, catering some of Australia’s most recognised events, including Industry events, galas, and private functions.
Prepare and deliver a variety of cold items to a number of Crown's F&B; outlets
Assist in the preparation and plating of events for 10 - 2500 guests.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of food safety standards and HACCP.

About you

You’ll bring the following




Extensive experience in a similar commercial kitchen environment. Ideally in Garde Manger or cold section with high volume, event experience.
Strong knife skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously, and as a part of a team.
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
