Assist with repairing and maintaining products delivered to the Service Centre and in customer operations.
Demonstrate 100% commitment to zero harm behaviours in support of a world class safety culture.
Strip, maintain, repair, and report on customer pumps in the Townsville Service Centre and occasionally at customer operations.
Provide informed recommendations to enhance product performance, service quality and workshop processes.
Play an active role in implementing the Weir Production System within the Rebuild Centre.
Support mine shutdowns by attending customer sites when required. About the Candidate - Cert III - Mechanical Engineering / Fitting & Turning.
Experience in mechanical fitting in a workshop and onsite settings.
Experience leading and mentoring a team of fitters.




Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
High-risk fork lift ticket - required.
Overhead crane and dogger ticket - highly desirable.
Current driver's licence.

Work Workplace - Family-friendly Monday to Friday roster: Monday - Thursday 6am - 2.30pm, Friday 5am - 11am.
