About The Role We are currently seeking an experienced tradesperson to work within a commercial cleaning contract in Acton, ACT. You will liaise with building occupants and contractors, ensuring the effective coordination and delivery of day-to-day maintenance requirements. Key Responsibilities
Assign contractors and inspect general maintenance, repairs and minor refurbishment works across accommodation rooms, common areas and facilities
Assign contractors and inspect basic carpentry, painting, plumbing and handyman tasks
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities
Assist with furniture assembly, room setup and facilities preparation for events and conferences
Maintain grounds, outdoor areas and building presentation standards
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and operational issues
Liaise with contractors and service providers where required
Ensure all work is undertaken safely and in accordance with WHS requirements

About You
Previous experience in building maintenance, facilities management or a handyman role
Sound practical skills across a range of general maintenance disciplines
Demonstrated understanding of risk management principles, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and control measures




Solid attention to detail and commitment to high presentation standards
Ability to work independently and effectively manage competing priorities
Friendly, professional and service-oriented approach
