Workfast is seeking reliable Electrical Spotters to join the initial earthworks phase of a major renewable energy infrastructure project near Mudgee, NSW.
Pay Rate: $45.00 p/hr + Overtime + Super
Location: Merotherie, NSW
Hours: 6:30am start, 10–12 hour shifts
Start Date: ASAP
This is a long-term prospect working on a Tier 1 solar project supporting large-scale civil construction works, with further infrastructure works to follow.
What You Will Be Doing
Performing dedicated electrical and safety spotting for machinery operating near overhead and underground services
Maintaining clear communication with plant operators, trades, and site crews
Ensuring strict adherence to exclusion zones and safety protocols
Assisting with site hazard assessments and risk management around live assets
General site support and safety documentation as required
What You Need
White Card (Construction Induction)
Valid Electrical Spotter Ticket/ Training
Current First Aid / CPR qualification (preferred)
Driver's License and reliable transport to and from site
Proven experience spotting for heavy plant near electrical assets
Robust focus on safety, vigilance, and transparent communication
Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical
