Hays is currently recruiting a construction estimator for a growing Tier 2 company just South of the River.

Supporting the bidding team on contracts such as townhouses, education, hospitality & more.

Please note you must have 1 years experience in estimating within multi residential or commercial construction to be considered.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for appropriately evaluating the cost of a project, and evaluating the cost to take on that project. The candidate will be familiar with our competitive advantages as an organization and will be able to communicate those to our perk throughout the bidding process.

Responsibilities




Maintain knowledge of competitive advantages in the industry to aid bidding process
Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
Obtain accurate quotes for materials and systems to establish accurate cost estimates

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Construction or equivalent experience
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
Familiarity with blueprints and ability to read plans
1 - 3 years' of construction experience preferred
Experience within estimating is essential
Knowledge of WA bidding process and procedure
