About the Role

We are seeking passionate and experienced House Companions to join our team at the Korongee Dementia Village in Glenorchy. This casual position offers the chance to provide meaningful, person-centred care in a supportive, dementia-friendly environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
Providing high-quality personal care and daily living support, including personal hygiene, mobility assistance, and social engagement
Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver individualised care plans that enhance residents’ wellbeing, independence, and quality of life
Creating a warm, inclusive, and supportive workplace that celebrates each resident’s individuality
Participating in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional development




Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation in line with regulatory and organisational standards

What We’re Looking For
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Aged Care)
Minimum 2 years’ experience providing person-centred care to older adults, ideally those living with dementia
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and strong relationships
A compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach
Excellent time management and organisational abilities
Current right to work in Australia
Ability to obtain and maintain a transparent National Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People Check (with NDIS endorsement)
