About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic cook to manage the day-to-day preparation of meals for our children aged 2 years to 5 years. You’ll play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing of our children through the preparation of healthy meals that meet individual dietary needs and cultural considerations.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and prepare nutritious, age-appropriate meals and snacks in line with the NSW Early Education and Care guidelines Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety Cater to individual allergies, intolerances, and cultural requirements Work closely with educators to support children’s nutritional development Maintain kitchen/food records,



including temperature logs and cleaning schedules Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, educators, staff and management Order and manage food supplies within budget

What We’re Looking For

Preferred Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education (not mandatory)

Current food Safety Supervisor certificate

Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience working in a childcare or early education kitchen

Valid Working with Children Check, First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis/Asthma training

Excellent understanding of allergies and special dietary requirements
