They are a Sydney based call 2 builder that work with esteemed developers on projects around Sydney.

They operate in the recent build sector and are currently focusing on the delivery of high standards High Rise Residential and boutique luxury apartment projects.

They are currently going through an expansion and have decided to attract an experienced Construction Manager / Project Director.

About the role

This role is a newly created role for someone who is ready to take the next step from a Senior Project Manager position or is already currently in a Construction management position overseeing multiple projects.

You will be responsible for managing the construction department and providing guidance to the site teams spread across multiple class 2 developments.

The core responsibilities include:
Provide leadership, grow, support and provide direction to maximize the amount of projects awarded
Coordinate and assist project teams, to work collaboratively towards achieving project objectives
Monitor project budgets and implement cost-effective strategies to ensure projects remain financially viable
Innovate,



invest and create efficiencies in systems and processes to tighten up build times but also allow for more prospects for growth
Finding opportunities to lower costs and create efficiencies from existing systems or introduce current ones.
Ensure safety standards amongst the team and that these standards are followed and practiced.

About you Passion, ambition, and drive is a critical part of this role. We want someone to own this role, take initiative, present ideas for change, create efficiencies and have a customer centric mindset.
Experience in Class 2 projects.
A proven leader who has already has a track record of success in the industry
Experience in a senior management role managing multiple apartment projects at the same time
Construction Management Degree or equivalent
A solid understand building regulations, laws and compliance
An ability to lead and drive a team to deliver high quality builds
Strong problem-solving skills and able to multi - task conflicting priorities
Robust Budgeting, Forecasting and Financial skills.
