Customer Service & Administration Officer

About the role

AustraHort is looking for an organised and customer-focused Customer Service & Administration Officer to join our friendly team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with systems, takes pride in accuracy and loves keeping things organised. You'll support our customers by preparing quotes, processing orders, coordinating freight and maintaining accurate records while working as part of a supportive small office team.

This is a permanent part time role with weekly hours agreed with the successful applicant, which may include school hours five days per week or a 4 day work week.

As the business continues to grow, this role offers genuine opportunity to expand in both responsibility and career development.

Key responsibilities
Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email
Prepare customer quotations and process sales orders
Coordinate freight and customer deliveries
Prepare invoices and supporting documentation
Manage customer backorders and follow up enquiries
Maintain accurate records using Sage and Microsoft Office




Update website products and pricing
General administration and office support

What we're looking for

You'll be someone who
Has previous customer service or administration experience
Has excellent attention to detail
Is highly organised and enjoys following systems and processes
Is confident using Microsoft Office (Sage experience is an advantage)
Has excellent communication skills
Enjoys working in a small, collaborative team
Takes initiative and is always looking for better ways to do things
