Leading Structural Steel, Stainless Steel & Aluminum Fabrications Company in Sydney's Northern Beaches is looking to hire a full time heavy metal fabricator tradesman to join their quick-paced team for shop fabrication and installation works.
Specialising in creating steel solutions for a wide range of applications including Structural Steel for High End Residential home renovations, Staircases, Awnings, Custom fabrication and Architectural steel designs for our clients over the past 45 years.
· Ability to read and evaluate technical drawings and procedures
· Ability to consistently maintain a high quality of workmanship
· Good problem-solving skills
· An eye for detail and ability to work to precision
· Good verbal and written communication skills
· Be able to work effectively as an individual, unsupervised, and as a team player within an organised workplace
· Must have good time keeping and job recording skills
· Have an understanding of the importance of OH&S; and follow Company procedures in the workplace and on site
· Australian boilermaker apprenticeship, trade certificate 3 or equivalent required
Other Responsibilities and Requirements:
· Maintain good standard of our workplace tidiness
· Shop fabrication and site installation experience
· Must be an enthusiastic, positive and patient person who takes pride in their work and team results
· Strong listening skills and the ability to follow instructions
· Be prepared to work additional hours when required
· Hold a valid Australian Driver's license
· MR or HR Truck license (would be an asset)
· Forklift license (preferred though not essential)
· White Card
