Homeground Jiu Jitsu is a growing martial arts academy in Perth, committed to providing a welcoming, professional environment for our members. We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and organised receptionist to become the first point of contact for our academy.
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys customer service, has strong communication skills and is confident speaking with new people.
Hours
Casual position
Monday to Thursday
4:00 pm – 6:00 pm (8 hours per week)
Responsibilities
Welcome members and visitors to the academy
Answer phone calls, emails and enquiries
Assist prospective members with memberships and bookings
Follow up enquiries and trial students
Process memberships and payments
Maintain a clean and professional reception area
Provide exceptional customer service to members and families
Support the coaching team with general administrative tasks
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
Has excellent communication skills and is fluent in English
Is friendly, confident and professional
Is reliable and punctual
Has robust organisational skills and attention to detail
Is comfortable using computers and learning new software
Enjoys working with people of all ages
Can work independently and take initiative
Preferred (but not essential)
Previous reception, administration or customer service experience
Sales or retail experience
Experience using booking or membership software
