About the role

Join the team at the Matraville Hotel as a Hotel Duty Manager. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring an exceptional experience for all guests. Based in Matraville, NSW you will play a key strategic role in the success of this hospitality establishment.

What you'll be doing
Manage the daily operations of the hotel
Work rotating shifts across different times of the day to ensure continuous operational coverage
Coordinate and supervise staff to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a qualified and timely manner
Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the hotel premises
Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures
Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to drive business growth
Prepare reports and maintain accurate records of hotel operations

What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar hotel management role
Robust leadership and people management skills




Excellent customer service orientation with the ability to handle guest interactions effectively
Proficient in using hotel management software and systems
Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
Australian citizenship is required for this position
