We are looking for a talented Supervisor – Field Service Mechanical to join our team specialising in, repairs and servicing and support of Cummins engines in Automotive, industrial, Marine, High horsepower and Power generation applications for our Adelaide branch. This key appointment is responsible for coordinating all off-site based activities whilst providing direction to a team of dedicated field service technicians.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Efficiently manage the day to day running of field service work,
Plan, schedule and allocate all field service repair events for the branch,
Lead, mentor, and coach field service technicians - remotely supervise repairs and sign off on Technicians work - track and measure technician productivity and performance,
Building and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers,
Provide technical support to the staff.
Maintain a protected workplace in accordance with OH&S; requirements. Conduct quality checks. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain a high level of housekeeping, workflow, and traffic management in the site.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:




Proven supervisory/leadership experience with a strong technical background – ideally within heavy diesel
Significant experience in a workshop environment with Robust leadership and people management skills
Heavy Vehicle qualification - preferred
Motivated towards developing a high performing and professional team and their commitment to safety and providing exceptional customer service

Compensation and Perks
Full-time role, 38 hours per week
Overtime available with penalty rates for all hours above 38
All PPE and uniforms supplied
