Full-Time Deli Manager

We are an established, family-owned gourmet grocery and delicatessen in Sydney looking for an experienced Full-Time Deli Manager to lead our deli department.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous delicatessen experience who is passionate about quality food, customer service and taking ownership of a busy, well-established deli.

About the Role

As our Deli Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the deli department, ensuring it is well stocked, professionally presented and operating efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:
Managing the daily operations of the deli department
Ordering and maintaining stock levels across all deli products
Building and maintaining supplier relationships
Managing stock rotation, quality control and minimising waste
Preparing and merchandising premium meats, cheeses, antipasto and specialty food products
Ensuring the department is presented to a high standard at all times
Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
Delivering exceptional customer service and product knowledge




Working closely with management to continue developing and improving the deli offering

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience working in a delicatessen (essential)
Experience ordering deli products and managing inventory
Solid knowledge of premium meats, cheeses, antipasto and specialty food products
Excellent organisational and time management skills
A positive, hands-on attitude with a strong work ethic
High attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service skills
The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail workplace
