We are currently looking for Container Unloaders and Forklift Drivers:-
Your duties will include:
Hand loading & unloading containers.
Downstacking of palletised container stock.
Interpreting container packing lists, completion of outturn reports and daily time sheets.
Liaising with customers, staff and management.
Wrapping pallets (manually and via wrapping machines).
Forklift operations (where required).
To be considered for the position we require candidates to have the following:
Repetitive heavy lifting experience 25kgs +.
Be able to work in a cold warehouse environment.
Available to be on call.
Hard working attitude.
Own PPE (steel cap boots & Hi Vis shirt, jumper, jacket etc.)
Be physically fit.
Commitment to long term role.
Sound understanding of the principles of WHS.
Be willing to undergo random drug tests as requested by our specific clients.
Must be available for shifts from Monday to Saturday (day and afternoon).
Able to lead by example.
People management skills.
High attention to detail.
Ability to work well within a team and work unsupervised on occasion.
Good problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The role will start as a casual on call position however with business growth; ongoing opportunities may be on offer for the right candidates.
Please note due to the ongoing nature of this position, only applicants with unrestricted work ability will be selected.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $32.08 – $37.00 per hour
