Pay: $33.85 per hour (including casual loading)
Hours: Approx. 20 hours per week (during school term time)
Roster: Up to 5 days across Monday-Sunday, including evening shifts (roster discussed with successful candidate)

Cater Care is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our team at a prestigious private school in Marion. This is a fantastic chance for someone looking to start or grow their hospitality career with a supportive team, ongoing training, and clear career pathways.

You’ll assist with catering services for the boarding house, supporting food preparation, meal service, and maintaining a high standard of customer experience for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare dining areas and serve meals to boarding students
Assist with food preparation including sandwiches, salads, and vegetables




Deliver friendly and productive café customer service
Maintain kitchen, service areas, and dining spaces
Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures

Skills and Experiences:
About You
Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen or hospitality environment
Robust teamwork skills and ability to follow instructions
Reliable, flexible, and available across the required roster
Comfortable working efficiently during busy service periods
Valid driver’s licence and understanding of food safety standards

Important: Successful applicants will be required to complete a Working With Children Check prior to commencement.
