We are looking for qualified chefs for our busy kitchen at The Boat Shed Restaurant, Darling Point Marine Agents Pty Ltd

We are a well established a-la-carte restaurant perched on the edge of the Maroochy River at Cotton Tree on the Sunshine Coast, renowned for great food, service and view.

Successful candidate will be offered salary in the range of $34 - $49 per hour plus superannuation to commensurate with skills and experience.

The Role:

Seeking a qualified chef on full time basis. This is a hands-on role where you'll be maintaining kitchen standard, delivering consistency during service, and working as part of a motivated and supportive team.

A trade qualified experienced chef
Minimum 2 years experience as qualifed chef
Proficient cooking ability in all sections of the kitchen - pans, grill, larder, fryers, desserts
Preparation of proteins, salads, sauces for service
Ability to work in a rapid paced setting
Trade Qualified




Receiving of deliveries and checking quality and quantities are correct
Assist in menu planning, ordering and quality of dishes are maintained
Follow all food health and safety regulations
Plating and presenting meals as per chef and managements direction
Food design for specials
Availability over weekends and evenings a must
Direct junior staff
