We're looking for reliable, compassionate Casual Support Workers to join our team across a variety of shifts and participants. Shifts may include community access, personal care, in-home support, and Supported Independent Living (SIL) - including some high-support shifts for participants with complex needs. Availability across days, evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight shifts is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
Assist participants with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication prompting
Support participants with community access — appointments, shopping, social and recreational activities
Provide SIL support, including 1:1 shifts for participants with higher support needs, in line with individual support and safety plans
Follow behaviour support plans and positive behaviour support strategies where applicable




Maintain accurate, timely progress notes and report incidents according to NDIS requirements
Support participants' dignity, choice, and control in every interaction
Communicate professionally with participants' families, Support Coordinators, and the Altura Care team

What You'll Need
NDIS Worker Screening Check (current, or willing to obtain before starting)
Working with Children Check (WWCC) — some participants are under 18
Current First Aid and CPR certificate
Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module ("Quality, Safety and You")

Pay: From $34.40 per hour
