About the Role:
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic person to join our team as a Sales Assistant. You’ll be representing Baker Bren’s, helping serve our delicious baked goods, engaging with customers, and ensuring the stall runs smoothly from setup to pack down.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and pack down the market stall (lifting required)
Serve customers with a smile and provide excellent customer service
Handle cash and EFTPOS transactions confidently
Restock display and ensure products are presented beautifully
Share product knowledge and help customers choose the perfect treat
Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
Requirements:
Must be available Thursdays, Fridays most weekends
Robust communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Experience in retail or hospitality is a bonus, but not essential
Must be reliable, punctual, and upbeat
