We are seeking an experienced and reliable Metal Fabricatorto join our team on a full time basis. This role is essential to supporting our ongoing projects and ensuring high-quality fabrication, assembly, and installation of metal components.

Key Responsibilities:

· Fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components according to technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

· Cutting, shaping, and bending metal using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery (e.g., welders, grinders, drills, shears, rollers, and presses).

· Performing MIG, TIG, and arc welding to join metal parts with precision and structural integrity.

· Positioning and securing steel structures and metal materials using clamps, jigs, and fixtures during assembly.

· Measuring, marking, and preparing materials in line with fabrication requirements and engineering tolerances.

· Operating machinery to roll, fold, cut, and form metal into required shapes.

· Inspecting completed components for quality, accuracy, and compliance with project specifications.





· Repairing damaged metal components and structural parts as required.

· Interpreting and working from technical drawings, engineering plans, and workshop instructions.

· Ensuring all work complies with WHS standards and workplace policies.

· Collaborating with tradespeople, supervisors, and project managers to meet job timelines.

Key Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

· AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV

· Proven experience of 1 year as a Metal Fabricator or in a similar role

· Fluent in English.
