Giraffe Early Learning Centre Warringah is a Childcare Centre licensed for 150 children, providing a welcoming, secure and high-quality care setting for children birth to school age. We are looking for a cook who will provide high-quality meals to our children and join our supportive team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about cooking nutritious meals for children. We are looking for a friendly and talented cook to join our team If you have experience cooking for children aged 0 to 6 years in a child care centre we would love to hear from you.

Meals that need to be prepared include the following:
Morning & afternoon tea
Lunch
Essential Requirements
Food safety and handling qualifications
A minimum Certificate in Commercial Cookery
A current Working With Children Check
Experience cooking in childcare centres
Effectively manage the kitchen, order stock,



plan all menu’s and prepare nutritious meals for the week from scratch.
Sound understanding of allergies and preparing alternative meals
Creative ideas around cooking for children!
