Job description

Your role will include:-
Service and maintenance of farm machinery.

Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups, to achieve better running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations, repairing and replacing worn and defective parts, perform repair work required to achieve roadworthiness
Conduct major repairs on engines and transmission.

-Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, adjusting brakes
Diagnosing and assessing faults
testing and adjusting mechanical parts before and after being repaired
Mobile servicing and onsite repairs and maintenance
Required:

· Trade Certificate - Diesel Mechanic

· A Minimum of 10 years work experience as a diesel mechanic with tractors,



trucks and agricultural plant equipment;

· Solid diagnostic and fault finding skills including electrical

· Ability to delegate tasks and manage a workshop

· Reliable, self-motivated and attention to detail

· Positive written and verbal communication skills

· A strong work ethic, commitment to safety and a can-do-attitude

· Ability to work in a small team

· Current Driver’s license

· You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of, and commitment to OH&S; principles

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year

Certificate I - IV (Required)
