We are a structural steel fabrication company based in Cranbourne and are looking for experienced Subcontract Steel Fabricators to join our growing team.
This role involves fabricating high-quality structural steel components in our workshop. Work is available Monday to Friday, with additional weekend work available when required.
Rate: $80 per hour (ABN required)
Key Responsibilities
Fabricate structural steel components according to fabrication drawings, including assembly and welding.
Process structural steel components, including cutting, drilling, and preparation.
Read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications.
Operate workshop machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble steel components.
Check drawings and specifications before commencing fabrication.
Maintain a clean and secure work setting.
Requirements
Proven experience in structural steel fabrication and plate work.
Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
Experience with structural steel fabrication and welding.
Previous installation experience is an advantage but not essential.
ABN required.
Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
