Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute functional, system integration (SIT), regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test cases.
Validate end-to-end trade lifecycle, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and post-trade processing workflows.
Perform SQL-based data validation to verify data accuracy and integrity.
Identify, log, track, and manage defects using Jira, ensuring timely resolution with development teams.
Support business users during UAT and ensure business requirements are successfully validated.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and execution reports.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality assurance practices.

Required Skills & Experience
Solid experience in Functional Testing within Clearing and Post-Trade environments.




Solid understanding of trade processing, trade lifecycle, reconciliation, settlement, and post-trade operations.
Hands-on experience with System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, and UAT support.
Strong SQL skills for backend data validation and testing.
Experience using Jira and Confluence for defect tracking, documentation, and test management.
Robust understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and software testing best practices.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills
Experience with Python or Java scripting for test automation or data validation.
Experience working in regulated financial services or capital markets settings.

Pay: From $120,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Sydney NSW
