Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a People & Culture strategy, reflective of the ethos and values of Mercy Ministry Companions (MMC).
Lead workforce planning, recruitment, retention and succession strategies
Oversee performance management and employee relations
Drive Work Health & Safety and Psychosocial Safety systems.




Deliver learning and leadership development strategies which strengthen workforce capabilities.
Lead communications, brand and stakeholder engagement
Provide strategic advice to the CEO, Executive and Board
Contribute to risk, compliance and organisational performance

Qualifications:
A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably as a Chief People Officer or similar.
Robust knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Experience in change management and organisational development.
Ability to analyse data and use metrics to drive HR decisions.
