BOOKKEEPER

A vacancy exists for a mature, reliable and qualified person to occupy the position of Bookkeeper.

This is a casual position offering friendly school hours ideally on a Monday or Tuesday for approx. 3 to 5 hours per week.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated person to become an integral part of our small team. Working out of our small office/warehouse in WANGARA, you will be responsible for:

Office Duties

General admin and data entry

General administration tasks

General office management duties

Manage accounts incoming & outgoing email correspondence.

Accounts / MYOB

5 years’ experience within an admin / accounts department

At least 3 years’ experience using MYOB

Invoicing

Accounts receivable and payable

BAS returns

Bank and balance sheet reconciliations

Reconciling accounts payable / receivables

Payroll preparation and reconciliation

Super, PAYG & BAS preparation

Ability to demonstrate MYOB accounts reconciliation experience

Other account duties as required

Excellent written & verbal communication skills





Outstanding time management skills

Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft packages

Advanced computer literacy with excellent knowledge of MYOB

Have excellent administrative skills

Highly motivated and able to work independently

Be adaptable with a positive, can-do approach

The successful applicant must be extremely organised, have the ability to work as part of a team or autonomously. Demonstrate excellent written & verbal communication skills and be able to contribute to our ongoing success.

You will also need to understand the nature of a small business and have a solid desire to succeed and help grow the company.
