Want a hands-on trade, steady hours and a rare skill set you won’t get on a building site? We’ll train you from the ground up to become a qualified plastic fabricator working on industrial projects that actually matter.
About the role
You’ll work alongside experienced fabricators building HDPE/PP tanks, chambers and pipework for mining, water treatment, chemical and ag projects. You’ll learn to read drawings, use tools and perform plastic welding in a clean workshop environment while working toward your qualification.
What you’ll learn
Reading workshop drawings and measuring accurately
Marking out, cutting and preparing plastic parts
Using hand and power tools safely
Assisting with assembly and plastic welding (butt, extrusion, hand)
Workshop housekeeping and basic quality checks
We’re looking for
Genuine interest in fabrication / engineering
Positive attitude, reliable, willing to learn
Comfortable with hands-on, physical work
Attention to detail and pride in your work
