Position: Cook (Full-Time)
Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation (depending on skills and experience)

Arte & Gusto Cafe Bar is seeking an experienced and motivated Cook to join our busy kitchen team on a full-time basis. We are looking for a reliable qualified who is passionate about preparing high-quality food and maintaining excellent kitchen standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare, season and cook a wide variety of menu items to established recipes and quality standards.
Ensure meals are prepared and presented consistently with excellent quality and portion control.
Assist with menu planning and the development of daily or seasonal specials.
Monitor food quality and maintain consistency during busy service periods.
Receive, inspect and store food supplies in accordance with food safety requirements.
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering, stock rotation and waste minimisation.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen,



equipment and food preparation areas.
Comply with all food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety regulations.
Work collaboratively with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure productive kitchen operations.

Essential Requirements
A qualification in Commercial Cookery is compulsory.
A minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a commercial kitchen is compulsory.
Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced kitchen environment.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and public holidays.
Good communication skills and a positive team-oriented attitude.
