ARC Plant Hire are seeking Drainers/ Pipelayers/ Concreters for work on various projects in Perth Metro and across the Pilbara Region.
Your roles and responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
Reading and understanding plans, drawings and specifications
Installing and repairing below stormwater drainage systems as per drawing specs
Prepare trenching beds as specified, to suit pipe being laid
Laying out pipe routes, following written instructions or blueprints, and coordinating layouts with supervisors, including:
Cutting pipes to required lengths
Aligning and positioning pipes to prepare them for welding or sealing
Checking slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers
Connecting pipe pieces and seal joints, using welding equipment, cement, or glue
Testing installed drainage systems
Covering pipes with earth or other materials
Supervising and teaching Civil Drainer Trainees
Minimum requirements -
· Minimum 3 years’ experience required in lieu of relevant qualifications
· Willingness to operate over multiple regional site locations (i.e. in a FIFO capacity).
