Room Leader – Jnr Preschool (2.5–3.5 Years)
Full-Time | 38 Hours per Week
$38.50–$40 per hour + Worker Retention Payment
Explore & Develop Roseville is seeking a warm, confident and passionate educator to lead our Young Preschool room for children aged 2.5–3.5 years.
We are a family-owned early learning and preschool service offering a supportive workplace, experienced leadership and a strong focus on high-quality education and care.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Certificate III or Diploma educator—or someone ready to take the next step into their first Room Leader position with mentoring and guidance from our Educational Leader and leadership team.
About the role
You will:
Lead and support the Young Preschool team
Build warm, secure relationships with children and families
Develop engaging, play-based educational programs
Create inviting learning environments based on children’s interests
Support children’s development, wellbeing and transition to preschool
Participate in excursions, in-services and career development
Work collaboratively with experienced educators and the leadership team

About you
You will have:
A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
A current NSW Working With Children Check
Experience in early childhood education
Leadership experience or enthusiasm to step into a Room Leader role
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A positive, proactive and team-focused approach
Robust organisation and time-management skills
A genuine passion for children’s learning, development and wellbeing
