We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Maintenance Fitter to join our operations team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and availability of fixed plant equipment through proactive maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Carry out preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on fixed plant equipment.
Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and equipment-related faults.
Complete planned maintenance activities in accordance with maintenance schedules and operational requirements.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and service history documentation.
Assist with the installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance planning of new plant and equipment.
Support workplace safety initiatives by conducting risk assessments and following all health, safety,
and environmental procedures.
Your Profile
A Trade Qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or equivalent recognised trade certification.
Demonstrated experience maintaining and repairing fixed plant or industrial manufacturing equipment.
Solid practical knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulic equipment, and industrial maintenance practices.
Experience operating a range of tools and workshop equipment, including power tools and welding equipment.
A Restricted Electrical Licence
Forklift Licence (preferred).
