We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Casual Echocardiographer to join our mobile healthcare team in Sydney. In this role, you will perform echocardiograms at nursing homes and private residences across the Sydney metropolitan area, delivering high-quality cardiac imaging services to patients in a convenient and comfortable setting.

Key Responsibilities

-Conduct diagnostic echocardiograms using portable ultrasound equipment in nursing homes and private homes.

-Ensure accurate and high-quality imaging results while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

-Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to explain procedures and provide reassurance.

-Maintain and calibrate portable ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance.

-Complete accurate patient records and imaging reports in compliance with healthcare regulations.

-Travel to various locations across Sydney, managing your schedule efficiently to meet patient needs.

-Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a professional demeanor in diverse settings.

Requirements

-Qualifications: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent accreditation with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).

-Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience performing echocardiograms,



preferably in a mobile or community healthcare setting.

Skills:

-Proficient in performing transthoracic echocardiograms.

-Solid interpersonal skills to interact with elderly patients and those with complex health needs.

-Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Licenses/Certifications:

-Current accreditation with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).

-Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel across Sydney.

-Current CPR certification.

Availability: Versatile availability for casual shifts, including weekdays and occasional weekends.
