We’re looking for a passionate and motivated Junior Cake Decorator who enjoys baking and decorating cakes and is eager to continue developing their skills. If you take pride in your work, have a great eye for detail and enjoy working in a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
Bake and decorate a variety of celebration cakes.
Follow decorating instructions and customer designs accurately.
Maintain a clean, organised and efficient workspace.
Adhere to food safety and hygiene requirements.
Assist with stock rotation, stock takes and ingredient handling.
Prepare orders for collection and assist customers during pickups.
Contribute ideas to improve quality and efficiency.
Work collaboratively to ensure orders are completed on time.
About You
At least one year of cake decorating experience in a commercial bakery, cake studio or similar workplace.
A minimum of one year’s cake decorating experience in a commercial bakery or cake studio.
Willingness to learn and accurately follow decorating instructions and established designs.
Robust attention to detail.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Applicants must already have the legal right to work in Australia at the time of application. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship or assist with visa applications.
Availability
Full-time preferred.
Casual and part-time applicants are welcome. Applicants must be available to work on Thursdays and Fridays, with additional shifts available depending on availability and business needs.
