We are seeking a dedicated a Full time Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast, QLD. This part-time contract role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our hospitality setting, ensuring that our guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high standards of service.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities to ensure cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and public areas.
Train and mentor housekeeping staff, providing guidance on best practices and company standards.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally,
ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Assist in the development and implementation of housekeeping policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate records of housekeeping activities, including staff schedules and inventory logs.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a housekeeping role is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
Robust attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
