Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centered care to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence, well-being, and inclusion in the community. Key Responsibilities:
Personal Care & Daily Living:
Assist clients with personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and medication administration.
Support clients in daily activities such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and mobility.
Client Support & Development:
Implement and monitor individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
Encourage participation in community activities and social interactions to foster independence and inclusion.
Health & Safety:
Provide first-aid and respond promptly to emergencies, ensuring a secure environment for all clients.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of client progress, incidents, and care provided.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with healthcare professionals,



family members, and community organizations to ensure holistic support.
Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and share best practices.
Transportation & Mobility Support:
Assist with transportation to appointments, community events, and social engagements when required.

Qualifications & Skills:
Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role, particularly within disability or community support settings, is preferred.

Core Competencies:
Robust interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused approach.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Job Types: Part time, Casual

Pay: From $41.76 per hour
