Are you a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner who loves turning lightbulb moments into everyday reality? Do you get genuinely excited about understanding the why behind behaviours, ditching restrictive practices, and writing plans that support workers actually enjoy reading?
If so, QuestCare wants to talk to you.
We are looking for a Proficient (or higher) NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team on a casual basis to start, with a view to expanding as we continue to grow.
Why you’ll like working with QuestCare
No micro-management: You know your craft. We trust you to run your assessments, write your plans, and support your participants without someone breathing down your neck.
External group supervision covered: Because we don't currently have an in-house Specialist practitioner, we’ll gladly provide external group supervision so you stay supported, connected, and compliant with the NDIS Commission.
Work-life sanity: Adaptable scheduling, straightforward communication, and an operational team that supports you in the field.
Casual with purpose: Perfect if you’re balancing other commitments, or wanting to test the waters with a supportive team before stepping into something larger.
What you’ll be doing
Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments that go deeper than standard templates.
Crafting human-centred Positive Behaviour Support Plans tailored to real lives.
Training support workers and families so plans are actually implemented with confidence and heart.
Identifying, reporting, and actively working to eliminate Regulated Restrictive Practices.
Bringing positive energy, zero judgment, and a cooperative mindset to every participant interaction.
What we need from you
NDIS Practitioner Suitability: Formally assessed as Proficient, Advanced, or Specialist via the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
Relevant Qualification: Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Applied Behaviour Analysis, Disability Studies, or related human services.
The Essentials: NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) card, and a current driver’s licence.
The Vibe: Curiosity over frustration, empathy over red tape, and a explicit, practical communication style.
If you’re ready to bring your clinical skill set to a team that values your independence and backs your growth, apply now.
