Who we are looking for:
We are currently looking for a Financial Accountant. You will be focusing on financial accounting across all brands in Atkore.
What you’ll do:
Reconciliation of sub ledgers
Reconciliation of fixed assets
Bank, accruals and prepayments
Maintain chart of accounts
Monitor P&L; allocations
Maintain fixed asset register
Ensure adequate audit trails are maintained
Bank administration - ensure that the division has adequate controls and software support
What you’ll bring:
CA/ CPA qualified or studying towards these qualifications.
Exposure to Hyperion financial reporting.
Up to date knowledge of current and proposed accounting standards.
Within 3 months, you’ll:
Complete your Atkore immersion program.
Understand how your job will help deliver Atkore’s strategy.
Gain an understanding of the accounting process.
Within 6-months, you’ll:
Have a better understanding of the accounting process
Built efficiencies in your role
Have a solid understanding of accounting transactions
Within 12-months, you’ll:
Work effectively and efficiently in the Finance Department
Ability to work autonomously
Manage audits when needed
Be an OHS Champion
