We are an independent PPF studio located just 10 minutes from the Melbourne CBD, and we are looking for a PPF Installer to join our team.
This job is perfect for someone with at least 1 to 2 years of experience installing Paint Protection Film. Our studio focuses primarily on PPF rather than standard vinyl wrapping; however, if you have experience with both, that is a huge plus as we also offer custom liveries and decals to our clients.
The ideal fit is someone who already knows the basics of handling film, bulk fitting, and how to operate a plotter (Graphtec) and the design software. We are a quality-over-quantity shop—we don't rush a high volume of cars through the door because our main priority is always a flawless finish. *Detailing experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right person on this.
Installing PPF: Preparation is key. We are highly focused on getting cars as clean as possible before installing film to ensure the best possible finish. We rarely use pre-cut templates because our shop is heavily focused on custom, hand-cut pieces (bulk fitting).
Checking Your Work: Making sure the film is applied neatly from the get-go—meaning no air bubbles, dirt specs, or tack marks.
Helping the Team: Jumping in to help with basic washing, polishing, or applying ceramic coatings if the PPF bay is quiet.
Keeping it Clean: Maintaining a tidy, dust-free workspace so your wraps come out perfect every time.
