About the Role

As a Hoist Operator, you will be responsible for the protected and efficient operation of personnel and material hoists on a busy commercial construction site. You will work closely with site management, subcontractors, and construction teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
Safely operate personnel and material hoists.
Complete daily pre-start inspections and maintain required records.
Communicate effectively with site supervisors and workers.
Ensure the safe loading and unloading of personnel and materials.
Report equipment faults and coordinate maintenance when required.
Maintain a clean and protected work environment.
Comply with all WHS policies, procedures, and site requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:




Current Construction White Card.
Relevant High Risk Work Licence (where required).
Previous experience operating construction hoists on commercial projects.
Robust commitment to workplace health and safety.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable
Dogging or Rigging Licence.
Working at Heights certification.
First Aid Certificate.
Experience working on high-rise commercial construction projects.
