Favourhill Care is seeking compassionate, experienced, and reliable Male and Female Disability Support Workers to support participants in Deception Bay and surrounding North Brisbane/Moreton Bay suburbs.

We are looking for support workers with experience supporting participants with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and challenging behaviours who are committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will:
Provide 1:1 support in the home and community
Support participants with daily living skills and independence
Build positive, trusting relationships
Implement behaviour support strategies in line with Behaviour Support Plans
Assist with community access, appointments, and recreational activities
Complete accurate progress notes and documentation
Promote participants' choice, dignity, and independence

We're Looking For Someone Who:
Has experience supporting participants with ASD, ADHD, and challenging behaviours
Is calm, patient, and resilient in complex situations




Has robust communication and problem-solving skills
Can build positive, long-term relationships with participants
Is reliable, professional, and person-centred
Is adaptable with weekday and weekend availability

Essential Requirements
Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
Current Australian Driver Licence and reliable vehicle
Comprehensive Car Insurance
Right to work in Australia
Experience implementing Behaviour Support Plans (highly regarded)
