We are looking for a motivated and reliable Sales Representative to join our growing business. We specialise in supplying tiles, natural stone, and construction materials to builders, contractors, and retail customers.
This is a hands-on role that combines customer service, sales, and warehouse responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Assist customers with product selection and provide excellent customer service.
Process sales and prepare quotations and orders.
Load and unload tiles, stone, and construction materials safely.
Operate a forklift to move and organise stock.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and ensure products are stored correctly.
Work closely with the team to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
Essential Requirements
Current forklift licence (essential).
Previous experience in sales, customer service, or the building materials industry is preferred.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physically fit and capable of handling heavy products.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
Basic computer skills.
A current driver's licence is preferred.
Basic computer skills with the ability to use sales, invoicing,
and inventory management software.
Highly Desirable
Experience in estimating quantities and preparing material take-offs for construction projects.
Knowledge of and experience using construction estimating software is highly desirable.
Previous experience in the tile, stone, or building materials industry will be highly regarded.
Extra benefits
Candidates with estimating skills and experience using construction estimating software may be offered a higher starting salary, depending on experience. Performance-based bonuses and additional incentives may also be available for employees who take on estimating responsibilities.
