We are looking for a full time Sous Chef to work alongside the Head Chef at Oscar Cooper, Prahran.

We are currently recruiting the following positions:
Full time Sous Chef - includes one day at the weekend
Sous chef key duties:
Reporting to head chef
Adhering to food safety and OH&S; standards
Maintaining consistently high quality in food preparation and service
Assist in development and creation of new seasonal menus and specials
Assist the Head Chef to control food cost
In conjunction with the Head Chef, train kitchen staff on all new menus and specials
Maintain effective communication with the kithcen and also the front of house management and staff
Complete food orders
Maintain hygiene, food safety program and overall kitchen cleanliness at all times
Roostering
Applicants for Sous Chef position must:
Possess appropriate cooking qualifications
Have a minimum of 2 years proven experience in contemporary cafe fare
Demonstrate motivation, commitment and attention to detail
Have a passion for delicious, expertly prepared food
Have full time availability including one day at the weekend
Be available to start as soon as possible
