Macmahon Maintenance Masters is Macmahon’s internal labour support division, providing support to Macmahon's surface and underground mining operations. The team is composed of experienced tradespeople and is suited to someone who is technically experienced, confident in their abilities and excited by the prospect of a recent challenge every day.

About the Role
We are looking for a Leading Hand HD Fitter to join the team! You’ll oversee and perform maintenance, repairs, and servicing of heavy mobile equipment while leading and supporting a team to ensure safe, efficient and reliable operations across our Mt Carlton Project. You’ll work alongside experienced teammates who share knowledge and support each other to get the job done safely and efficiently.

Roster: 7:7 DIDO
Rate: Up to $89 per hour (temp to perm)

Responsibilities
Lead daily performance: safety, plan compliance, and quality
Set clear expectations: guide, develop and recognise your team
Own schedules, resources and interfaces with contractors/suppliers
Drive reliability and continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring
Australian-recognised trade
Experience with Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) ideally in Surface Mining
Ability to work as part of a team and step up when needed
