Position Title: Wildlife Rescue Coordinator / Call-taker (Volunteer)
Location: Remote (Volunteer from Home)
Role Summary:Wildlife Rescue Coordinators are responsible for answering wildlife rescue calls, assessing and prioritising incidents, dispatching volunteers, monitoring active rescue cases, and providing support to callers and rescue personnel. Coordinators play a vital role in ensuring wildlife receives an productive and appropriate response.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer incoming wildlife rescue calls.
Collect and record accurate information about each incident.
Assess and prioritise rescue cases.
Dispatch suitable volunteers to attend rescues.
Monitor active cases and provide ongoing support to volunteers.
Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with callers and the rescue team.
