Housekeeping Trainer – Luxury Hotel (Sydney)

Empire Hospitality is seeking an experienced and passionate Housekeeping Trainer to support our 5‑star hotel partners across Sydney. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives on developing people, elevating service standards, and ensuring consistent, high‑quality housekeeping performance.

About the Role

As a Housekeeping Trainer, you will deliver structured training programs for Room Attendants, Housepersons, Public Area Attendants, and Supervisors. You will play a key role in onboarding, skills development, quality assurance, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery — Facilitate onboarding, refresher, and upskilling sessions across multiple hotel sites.
On‑Floor Coaching — Provide real‑time coaching, room inspections, and corrective guidance.
Competency Assessments — Conduct practical assessments and sign‑offs aligned with 5‑star brand standards.
Compliance & Safety — Train staff in WHS, manual handling, chemical safety, and infection control.
Documentation & Reporting — Maintain accurate training records, attendance logs, and improvement plans.




Quality Assurance Support — Assist with room audits, SOP compliance, and service recovery coaching.
Continuous Improvement — Identify training gaps and propose solutions to enhance performance.

Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 3 years Housekeeping Experience in a 4–5 star hotel.
Previous Training or Supervisory experience highly regarded.
Solid understanding of WHS, infection control, and luxury hotel brand standards.
Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work across multiple hotel sites within Sydney CBD and surrounds.
